Boca Raton, FL (Aug. 19th, 2024) — <a href="https://www.carbonlimit.com/" style="color:#d19821; text-decoration:none;">Carbon Limit</a>, a climate tech company transforming the concrete industry with its proprietary CO2-capturing technology, today announces the appointment of Gabriel Carrero as Chief Commercial Officer (CCO). In this role, Carrero is tasked with scaling the commercialization and strategic development of this first-of-its-kind business’ sustainable built environment solutions.

As a highly accomplished senior executive, Carrero holds over two decades of experience and leadership in the specialty construction materials and technology sectors. Prior to joining Carbon Limit, Carrero served as Senior Vice President of Sales & Marketing for CarbonCure Technologies, a sustainable concrete company. Carrero was instrumental in steering CarbonCure’s global market expansion. Prior to his tenure at CarbonCure, Carrero led the commercial organizations for Sysdyne Technologies as CCO, and served as CCO & Head of Global Business at NITROcrete. 

Carrero also held significant leadership roles during his almost 19-year career with W.R. Grace/GCP Applied Technologies, a global market leader in specialty engineered construction materials. Through these roles, Carrero showcased extensive topline revenue performance and market share growth with an initial focus on North and Latin America regions, yielding major success that drove his scope of work to the global level.

His extensive experience driving business development and commercial leadership on specialty construction materials, groundbreaking technologies and carbon credit sales will prove valuable in further solidifying Carbon Limit as a decarbonization trailblazer.

Carrero’s appointment comes following the <a href="https://www.carbonlimit.com/press-releases/carbon-limit-appoints-jeremy-healey-as-president-joel-richardson-as-chief-financial-officer" style="color:#d19821; text-decoration:none;">recent aditions</a> of Jeremy Healey as President and Joel Richardson as Chief Financial Officer.
